"2012" film against Islam: Indonesia clerics

Hollywood's latest doomsday offering "2012" has caused a storm in Indonesia, with conservative clerics condemning it Thursday as a "provocation against Islam".

"The controversial things about the film are, first, in Islam doomsday should not be visualized or predicted, it's the secret of God," council chairman Amidhan told AFP.

Duh.. Everybody knows that! It is in GOD'S hand when it comes to Doomsday. The movies itself is not a movies about ISLAM.. it's about the MAYAN BELIEFS!

"For the common people, the portrayal of doomsday in this film could distort their faith, that's what I'm worried about."

Common People? And you are the non-common people? Which in by saying that you try to proclaimed that you are above the COMMON PEOPLE? Gosh.. please bare in mind that MUSLIM ARE NOT STUPID.. at least in MALAYSIA we are not.. but who knows about the Indonesian Muslims. Do you think that.. after seeing the movie 2012.. MUSLIM will come out the movie theather and come running to nearest BUDDHIST TEMPLE and converts to BUDDHISTISM? or to a CHURCHS and convert to CHRISTIANITY? But wait.. 2012 is about the MAYAN BELIEF.. do we have MAYAN TEMPLES in this realm? erm...

He also complained that the film showed mosques being destroyed but not churches.

Wait.. it seem like you have not seen the movie yet. If you do, you will see the destruction of the VATICAN CITY - the Roman Catholic Christian Centre of the world. Or the collapses of the Monumental Christ The Redemeer in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil. The deaths of Jews in Jerusalem!

For your information.. MUSLIM is all about choices. Choices to do HELLIST things and face the API NERAKA. Choices to do GOOD DEEDS and face the SWEET SMELLS of SURGA. Choices to see the movie 2012 and try to elaborates the good of GOD in contra to the FAITHS. MUSLIM is not STUPID.. it is peoples the like of you that's makes MUSLIM look stupid.
